What's the difference between Amps, Volts and Watts? ... Amps would be the volume of water flowing through the pipe. The water pressure would be the voltage. Wattswould be the power (volts x amps) the water could provide (think back to the old days when water was used to power mills).
One of the major difference between volts and watts is that the volt is the SI unit of potential difference and electromotive force, whereas the watt measures the SI unit of power. The other differences between them are explained below in the comparison chart. Both the volts and watts are related to each other.
I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU DEAR

Hello,
Here is your answer
Volts is used to measure the differential potential between two points or two wires.
It indicates the required potential that required for a device to work on I.e. 110 or 220.
And if u operate it in another volt it will get damaged.
But watt indicates the amount of power conumption.
Which mean if a device conume 1500 watt
This mean if u operate it for one hour it will consume 1500 watt.
Am I helpful?
