Explanation:

if there is not motion produced in body, the works become zero. We can do work against gravity or against friction. when we lift something then it is work done against gravity and when we slide something then it is work done against friction..

Frictional force is the opposing force that arises when one body moves over another body and acts at the surfaces of contact. Gravitational force is the force of attraction between any two bodies that have mass. Frictional force is a contact force. Gravitaional force is a non-contact force.

While gravity is an essential element of physics to a playground slide, friction is of equal importance. Friction works against gravity to slow a person's descent on a slide.

Friction :

Friction is a force between two surfaces that are sliding, or trying to slide, across each other. For example, when you try to push a book along the floor, friction makes this difficult. Friction always works in the direction opposite to the direction in which the object is moving, or trying to move.

Gravity :

Gravity, also called gravitation, in mechanics, the universal force of attraction acting between all matter. On Earth all bodies have a weight, or downward force of gravity, proportional to their mass, which Earth's mass exerts on them. Gravity is measured by the acceleration that it gives to freely falling objects.
