World record means having name and fame over the world if you have done some exceptional things or achieve something special all over the world.
But
Olympic is a world level (international )
sports organisation which is also received when you have done some exceptional things or achieve something special in an olympic competition..

World record means a record which is made in world..It means that it is the highest or greatest record in the world.

Olympic record is made in Olympics only...Suppose a world record in any field is 10 sec but, the highest record in Olympics is 11 sec, 11 sec would be the Olympic record
