zygote is the stage after the fusion of the male and female gametes and when it start dividing into the cells and foetus is the stage where the Unborn baby as develop in near about 4 to 5 months we can identify the body parts and this is known as the foetus

when the sperm and ovum fuse together,a new cell, called zygote while The stage of embryo when all body parts can be identified is known as foetus.
