Mass means the amount of matter inside an object and weight means how heavy is something

Note that mass is independent of everything but weight is different on the earth, moon, etc

Weight is the gravitational pull on the body and it changes with the height from the earth surface
Mass is the amount of matter in a body and it is a constant quantity according to law of conservation of matter
