Key Differences between Resistance and Resistivity. ... The SI unit of theresistance is ohm, and the SI unit ofresistivity is ohm-meter. Theresistance of the material depends on the length, cross-section and area of conductor whereas the resistivitydepends on the nature and temperature of the material.
