CRYPTOGAMAE

It contain seedless plants

It includes both vascular and non vascular plants.

An external water is required for fertilization.

Phanaerogammae

It contain plants with seeds.

It includes only vascular plants.

An external water is not required for fertilization.

cryptogammae consists of seedless plants whereas phanegrammae consists of seed bearing plants.cryptogams consists of plants like algae,mosses and ferns .cryptogams are also non flowering plants which mainly reproduce by production of spores.
