Newton defined the gravity in terms of a force that attracts the every body to each other. It is proportional to the mass of objects and inversely proportional to the distance between two objects. He had not given correct explanation of gravity that why earth doesn't fall on the sun and moon on the earth.
But Albert Einstein explains it in his General theory of relativity. Gravity caused by the curved space time. Space time warps due mass and energy. Every mass having body warps the space time. Newton said that the space and time are absolute and exists separately and don't relative to each other .Einstein proved Newton wrong. Einstein postulated that space and time are no absolute. Space is like real thing. It can be curved. Space and time exists in the same way in the universe. In our solar system Sun warps the space time and earth moves along the curved path.
