difference in usage of people and persons.


yuvrajkj: a person is always singular. the word "persons" does not exist
yuvrajkj: people is used in plural
yuvrajkj: example. 1. the person is responsible for the crime

There is a difference between people and persons. Traditionally, persons was used when referring to a group of humans for which the exact number of humans was known. Example: Four persons were involved in the robbery.
