according to you orientalist education were also known as traditional educational system and it was supported by William Jones and Henry Thomas colebrooke it is based on the Indian Heritage and they promoted the law and languages but English view it is also known as the Western education system it was supported by James mill and Thomas babington Macaulay it is based on English culture and the stress on science and wanted the English to be medium of instructions

Anglicists thought that European education would improve Indian condition and bring reforms so English must be the medium of instruction. whereas, from orientalists' view the traditional Indian education was rich with culture and local literature that will keep them well rooted to their own society.
