Difference of two perfect cubes = 387

Cube Root of greater no. = 8

TO FIND :

Cube Root of smaller number.

SOLUTION :

Let the smaller no. be x³

{ Since, it is a perfect cube and " x " denotes the cube Root }

Given that, cube Root of greater number is 8,

cube would be : -

=> ( 8 )³

=> 8 × 8 × 8

=> 512

THE EQUATION FORMED :

512 - x³ = 387

=> x³ = 512 - 387

=> x³ = 125

=> x = {\sqrt[3]{125}}

=> x = 5

ANSWER :

The cube Root of the smaller number is 5
