Answer: Numbers which can be represented in p/ q form wher both are integer and q =/ 0 is known as rational number

Eg 1/2 1.636363.. 1.5

Numbers which can not be represented in p/q firm where both are integer and q is not equal to 0

Eg under root 3 or 1.125225222522225

Rational :- The numbers which are in the form of p/q and where p , q belongs to integers and q ≠ 0 .

Eg :- 2/3 , 9/16 etc .

Irrational :- The numbers which are not in the form of p/q and where under root must be not a perfect square .

Eg :- 2.13333 , √15 etc .
