The differences between ascaris and taenia are:-
1) Ascaris or roundworm is the parasitic flatworm found in intestine of mammals ,whereas Taenia or tapworm is a long ribbon like parasitic flatworm found in the intestine.
2)Ascaris belongs to phylum Nematoda ,whereas Taenia belongs to the class clestoda under the phylum platyhelminthes.
3)Ascaris is a psedocoelomate animal whereas taenia is a acoelomate animal.
4)Ascaris consist of hard outer covering called cuticle whereas taenia lacks cuticle.
5)Ascaris has unsegmented body whereas taenia has segmented body and this segments are called proglottids.
