democracy is a system of govt which follows the criteria -the people , for the people and of the people. for example in india we choose our representatives. so we are controlling our country.
dictatorship is a form of govt practised where power lies in the hand of one person i.e. the dictator and all the decisions are taken by him. people do not have their own choice . in early times , our country India had dictatorship of Aurangzeb wjo did not give the chance to the people .
