Boiling requires applying heat to a liquid...sufficient heat to turn the liquid to steam. Evaporation is a much slower process, the dryness in the air picks up the moisture and it dissipates.

the rate of change of phase from liquid to gas at any temperature is called evoperation.the rate of change of phase from liquid to gas at constant temperature is called boiling
