hypotonic- when the solution outside the cell is less than the cell sap then it is called hypotonic solution.
isotonic- when the solution outside the cell is as same the cell sap then it is isotonic solution.
hypertonic- when the solution outside the cell is more than the cell sap then is called hypertonic solution. In this cell can losses water and can shrink.
