Heya!!

The major differences between liquids and gases are:

LIQUIDS:-

They have a definite volume.

They have no definite shape, that is, they take the shape of the container it is put in.

The molecules in a liquid are not so tightly packed as in solids.

They are not rigid.

GASES:

Gases have no definite shape.

Gases don't have a definite volume.

The molecules in gases are very apart from one another.

They are not rigid.

Hey
here's your answer !!

Liquids :--
( a ) They have a fixed volume but dont have a fixed shape . They take the shape of the container .
( b ) Intermolecular force of attraction is stronger than that in gases .
( c ) Intermolecular spaces is less than that in gases .

Gases :--
( a ) They neither have a fixed volume nor a fixed shape .
( b ) Intermolecular force of attraction is weaker than that in liquids .
( c ) Intermolecular spaces is huge as compared to liquids .

Hope it helps !!
