hi brother
Differences between male and female gametes-
1. male gametes are produced in testes and are known as SPERMS whereas female gametes are produced in ovaries and are known as EGGS
2. Male gametes are smaller than female gametes
3. Male gametes are produced in large numbers as compared to female gametes
4. Male gametes have long tails with conical head whereas female gametes are spherical or oval in shape
5. Male gametes are formed by the process of SPERMATOGENESIS whereas female gametes are formed by the process of OOGENESIS
6. Male gametes are highly mobile and have many mitochondria (because they have to travel larger distance) whereas female gametes are less mobile and have few mitochondria (they need not travel much distance)
thanx u
