There are many differences between film and digital photography. To most amateur photographers they do not matter much. ... The sensor: The most obvious difference between film and digital is the sensor used to take the photo. With film cameras a film sensitive to light is placed behind the lens.

  1. Film roll Vs SD card
  2. No LCD Display Vs LCD Display
  3. No megapixels Vs Megapixels
  4. Zero optional zoom Vs optional zoom
  5. No picture modes Vs different picture modes
  6. Limited features Vs multiple features
  7. Limited number of pics per roll Vs Unlimited no. of pics depending on the size of a card.
  8. Hassle of developing pictures Vs no hassle, simply transfer them to PC/laptop.
