• Plastids are present in plant cells whereas, plastids are absent in animal cells.

• Animal cells possess centrioles to help in cell division whereas, centrioles are absent in plant cells.

• Nucleus is present in centre of the animal cells whereas, nucleus is present in peri - pheri (corner) in plant cells.

• Vacuoles are present in plants cells and are very large in size whereas, vacuoles are generally absent in animal cells, if present also then are temporary ones.

Therefore, these are the few differences between plant and animal cells.
