- PS1 has happened at the outer surface of the grana thylakoid membrane of the leaf.

- It is not related to the photolysis of the water.
PS2:
- The photo center is P680.
- PS2 has happened at the inner surface of the grana thylakoid membrane of the leaf.
- It is riched with chlorophyll b than the chlorophyll a.
- It is related to the photolysis of the water.
