EVAPORATION :-

1. Evaporation is the process in which liquid state is converted to gaseous state below its boiling point .

2. It is surface phenomenon.

3. particles from surface of liquid medium get enough energy to get change into gas .

4. temperature needed for this process is below 100°C .

BOILING :-

1. Boiling is the process in which liquid state get converted to gaseous state at its boiling point.

2. It is bulk phenomenon.

3. particles from the bulk of liquid medium get enough energy to get change into gas .

4. temperature needed for this process is 100°C.
