Acute diseases lasts for a very short period of time , It does not affect on our general health , It can be cured by medicines, Ex - Fever etc .
Chronic diseases lasts for a long period of time or may be lifetime , It affect on our general health , it can't be cured by medicines , Ex-Chicken pox .

Difference between Acute disease and Chronic disease are:-
1) Acute disease-
•They are short duration diseases of relatively severe course.
•The patient recovers completely after the cure.
•There is no loss of weight of tiredness.
•There is short duration of work and effeciency.
2) Chronic disease-
•They are long lasting diseases of debliting (Weakening) effect.
•The patient does not recover completely.
•There is often loss of weight or feeling of tiredness.
•There is prolonged loss of work and effeciency.
