What is the difference between the the manner in which movement takes place in a sensitive plant and the movement in our legs?

Plants are adapted for a sedentary existence where most of the tissues are dead and provide structural and mechanical strength to it.also they prepare their own food through photosynthesis and need less maintenance...


Whereas we,the humans move around in search of food,mates and shelter.We consume more energy than plants for active locomotion..
