1. it is thicker in centre and thinner in edges.
2. it is also called as converging lens as it converge the light rays at a common point known as focus.
3. Focus is Real and Positive (+) and is formed in front of lens.
4. Form real image in first four cases and virtual images in 5th and 6th case.
)(concave lens
1. it is thinner in centre and thicker in edges
2.it is also called as diverging lens as it diverge the light rays.
3. Focus in negetive (-) as it is imaginary and is formed behind the mirror
4. Forms only virtual images in both cases.
