In the Equatorial zone there is some rainfall almost daily, mostly in mid afternoon time when heat has built up to a maximum for convectional rain.
The tropical zones have more seasonal rain, mostly, i but not exclusive by any means of the monsoon. There are very arid areas of the tropics and heavily forested where rainfall is more.
