segmented flatworms are those flatworms whose body is segmented or lined present in our body while flatworm are those whose body is simple

★ Morphology ★
- Flatworms have dorsiventrally flattened body... And hence called so. They also have hooks for attachment..
Whereas Annelids have their body surfaces distinctly marked into segments.
★ Coelom ★
- Flatworms are acoelomates (don't have coelom) whereas Annelids are true coleomates.
★ Body organisation ★
- Flatworms have organ level of body organisation whereas Annelids have organ system level of body organisation.
★ Locomotion ★
- In flatworms as such no locomotry organ is present.. But in some of the flatworms like planaria have cilia on their body surface which helps in locomotion..
Whereas some of the Annelids possess parapodia ...while some other Annelids do locomotion with the help of longitudinal and circular muscles.
★ Circulatory system ★
-In Flatworms , circulatory system is absent whereas Annelids have a closed circulatory system..
★ Digestive system ★
- Flatworms have blind sac body plan (incomplete digestive system) whereas Annelids have complete digestive system ..
★ Excretory System ★
-In flatworms , excretion takes place with the help of flame cells whereas in Annelids it takes place with the help of Nephridia..
