Non infectious disease :

They are caused by factors other than pathogens .

Factors for disease - Internal or intrinsic.

No, transmission except hereditary diseases which are transmitted from parents to offspring.

Example - Arthritis, Blood pressure.

Infectious disease :

They are caused by disease causing microbes.

Factors for disease - External or extrinsic.

Transmission of disease is through contaminated food , water, air or direct contact.

Example - Common cold, cholera .
