Explanation:

As humans, we have two sets of teeth that erupt during our lifetime – the first set is called as milk teeth, primary teeth or baby teeth and they start erupting when we are 6 months old and the next set of teeth, called permanent teeth, begin erupting as we turn 6 years old.

Answer:

MILK TEETH

●The teeth that occurs just after 6-7 months of a new born baby is known as Milk teeth.

●The size of milk teeth is smaller as compared to that of permanent teeth because they don't fit in jaws.

●They are 20 in number in both the jaws.

●The enamel is thinner and soft. This is reason why the bacteria in sweet and sour food taken by the child lead to rampant caries in kids.

●They don't have much restivity to highly sour, sweet and spicy food.

●It have large pulp chambers rich in blood and blood vessels..

PERMANENT TEETH

●Once the milk falls off, the teeth which remain till at the end of our life is known as permanent teeth.

●The size of permanent teeth is larger and broader as compared to milk teeth.

●They are 32 in number. We also have two pairs of premolars in each jaw and one pair of third molars in each jaw, taking the count to a total of 32 teeth.

●The enamel is thicker and stronger. This saves our teeth from highly sour or sweet food.

●They have small pulp chambers but the blood vessels can easily rich to supply blood.
