Hi , there !!

Scalar :- a scalar quantity or both should have magnitude is called a scalar quantity.

scalar obey the ordinary rule of algebra.

following are the example of a scalar product : distance,
mass ,
time,
speed,
density ,

etc

Vector :- get another the physical quantity which require magnitude and particular direction and it follows the parallelogram and triangle rule of addition is known as vector quantity.

vector is represented by line headed with an arrow.

the length of vector is directly proportional to magnitude.

following are the example of vector quantity :-

displacement

velocity

acceleration

hope it helps !!!

thanks !!
