Your answer :
Speed :
1. It is defined as distance per unit time.
2. Speed of an object tells us how does it move.
3. It is a scalar quantity and it is always positive.
4. The average speed of a moving object is always finite and can never be 0.
Velocity :
1. It is defined as displacement per unit time.
2. Velocity of an object tells how fast and in which direction the object moves.
3. It is a vector quantity and can be positive and negative.
4. The average velocity of an object can be zero.
Hope this helps.

Speed is distance / time
velocity is displacement / time
Speed is distance / time
