spermatogenesis means spermatozoa+genesis(starting)
the starting process which leads to generation of spermatozoan is known as spermatogenensis

oogenesis means ova+genesis(starting)
the starting process which leads to generation of ovum is known as oogenisia
difference in between them
1)spermatogenesis is carried out in male body,while it is carried out in female body
2)the former is carried out testis,male reproductive organ while the latter is carried out female reproductive organ,ovary
3)the former leads to secretion of testerone harmone while the latter leads to secretion of oestrogen

Spermatogenesis is the process in which Spermatozoa are produced from spermatogonial stem cells.
Oogenesis is the process of produce eggs in oogonia like some algaes and oomycetes.
