Different between temporary and permanent storage

Explanation:

Temporary memory is a memory that is lost when the computer is switched off. In a computer permanent memory is ROM, where as temporary memory is RAM. If we turn off the computer without saving the data, it is no more available when you again turn on to the computer. Temporary data is stored in registers.
