A. I).Aerobic respiration takes place in the presence of oxygen while Anaerobic respiration takes place in the absence of oxygen.

ii) Aerobic respiration, complete oxidation of glucose takes place while in Anaerobic respiration the glucose molecule is completely oxidised.

B. I) Breathing occurs between the body and external environment. While Respiration takes place in a cellular level.

ii). Breathing is both voluntary and involuntary while Respiration is always involuntary.

C. I) In inhalation lungs are inflated

while in exhalation lungs are deflated

ii). In inhalation the diaphragm contracts and flattens by moving down While in exhalation diaphragm relaxes and becomes dome- shaped by moving up.
