different between velocity and acceleration

Velocity refers to speed in the same path.
Acceleration refers to rate of change in velocity.

velocity : has displacement of the bodyper unit time it is a vector quantity direction is required

acceleration : it is change in velocity per unit time it is always positive in this case the velocity keeps increasing
