Secularism means to treat all the people equally irrespective of their caste, cred, culture, sex, background etc.

There are three elements of secularism,they are-
1.Rejection of religious beliefs, commitment and institution.
2.Privatization of religion.
3.Separation of the religion from the politics,i.e. increasing structural differentiation.
