Different species use different strategies to determine sex of a newborn individual . It can be enviromental cues or genetically determined . explain the statement by giving examples for each each strategy.

in crocodiles and lizards, temp decides the sex of the offsprings
if temp.is low(during incubation) ,offspring is female and vice versa

but in tortoise , if temp is low, it will be male.and vice versa

in humans , sex is determined by Male heterogamity, ie XX-XY type
