Basically, there r two main types of memory.
1. Primary Memory
2. Secondary Memory
Primary memory is the main memory or u can say it is the internal memory of a computer system. It contains RAM(Random Acess Memory) ROM(Read only Memory) Cache Memory.
And secondary memory is the external memory of computer system.
The secondary memory are HARD DISK, CD, DVD, PEN DRIVE, MEMORY CARDS ETC are the secondary memory.
