Voice of a woman is high pitched than that of a man.

The main difference between the frequency of a voice of a man and that of a woman is:

  • The frequency of the voice of a woman is much higher as compared to that of a man.

  • As a result, a women's voice appears more shrill as compared to that of a man.

  • Hence, the woman's voice is said to be HIGH PITCHED.

Reason for low frequency of man's voice:

  • When the larynx is growing with age, the vocal cord grows more in dimension as compared to the growth of larynx.

  • This leads to a bass voice.
