(1) Hypermetropia (far sightedness) -
- corrected by convex lens
(2) Myopia (short sightedness) -
- corrected by concave lens
(3) Astigmatism (multiple meridians) -
- corrected by cylindrical lens
(4) Presbyopia (old age hypermetropia) -
- corrected by bifocal lens
