PULSES:
- There are many different variety of pulses are there. Pulses belong to a division of plants called Dicotyledons which means that they have two cotyledons or seed parts.
- When seed receives the favorable conditions of water supply and temperature seed coat breaks and a plumule or primary shoot starts developing.
- At the same time, the radicle or primary root also start developing.
- The energy for this development is provided by two cotyledons present in it.
- And, slowly plumule develops into a mature shoot and radicle develops into mature roots, and the seed becomes a sapling and finally turns into a mature plant.
GERMINATION:
- There are two types of germination. They are Epigeal Germination and Hypogeal Germination
- Germination is a process in which a seed grows and develops into a sapling and then to a mature plant.
