Differentiation between "sequential and random access memory":
Sequential access memory:
It is the type of memory where the computer systems are able to read and write data from the beginning of the data file and then proceed sequentially at the end of the data file. No skipping of step occurs in this type of the memory system of the computer.
Random access memory:
In this type of memory the memory can read or write data from any part of the data file randomly.
