**Addition polymers.... these are the Polymers formed by the process of of addition polymerisation example polyethylene and polypropylene.
(when a large number of monomer molecule add up together to form the polymer chain the process is called addition polymerisation. this type of polymerization does not involve the elimination of small molecules like water NH3 and alcohol )
**Condensation polymers::--- these are the Polymers formed by condensation polymerisation. example Nylon- 66 and Terylene.
( in condensation polymerization a series of condensation reactions take place. The polymerization usually occurs between monomers containing two or more functional groups .Each step in this type of polymerization involves the loss of small molecules such as water NH3 and alcohol etc.)
