The frequency of a wave is how many times a wave repeats itself in a set amount of time, normally measured in Hertz (or waves per second). The amplitude is the height of the wavesand this measurement can depend on what type of wave it it you are measuring but a common measurement can be Volts.

Amplitude of a wave is the maximum displacement of wave from it's mean position. It is denoted by 'A'.

Frequency of a wave is the number of waves formed per second. It is denoted by 'v'.
