differentiate between an image and a shadow​

Answer:

Shadow is formed by obstruction of light by an opaque object. One cannot readily identify something by its shadow. For example, some people can make different structures look -alike of animals etc. only by their hands.

Image,on other hand, is a true reflection of body. It is formed by reflection of light rays by an object. You are able to see something only when reflected rays from a body make an image in your eyes.
