Arteries

They carry oxygenated blood from hearts to body parts except pulmonary vein.

They are also called Distributing vessel.

They are rhick and elastic.

They are deepseated.

Veins

They carry deoxygenated blood from body parts to heart except pulmonary vein.

They are also called Collecting Vessel.

They are thin and less elastic.

They are superficial as compared to arteries.
