differentiate between artries and veins

Arteries are vessels which carry blood away from heart .
Veins are vessels which brings blood back to the heart.

Arteries are vessels carrying blood away from heart to all the parts of the body. It carries oxygenated blood. It lacks valves.
Veins carry Deoxygenated blood from all the parts of the body to the heart. Valves are present.
