Bolus is the food that is mashed up in your mouth. After it is digested in the stomach, the food is called chyme.
Bolus is more alkaline than chyme because it is exposed to alkaline saliva. Teeth and saliva turn food into bolus. It is then swallowed and passes through the esophagus into the stomach.

Chyme has a higher acidity content than bolus because it was exposed to hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Chyme enters the small intestine after digestion in the stomach.

OR
More Simpler...
Generally bolus is swallowed and travels down the oesophagus to the stomach for digestion. Once the bolus reaches the stomach, it mixes with gastric juices and becomes chyme. The chyme then travels though the intestines and moves on for further digestion and absorption

hello here is your answer

bolus: teeth and lounge with the help of saliva masticate and mix up the food thoroughly .mucus in saliva helps in lubricating and adhering the masticated food particles into a bolus

chyme: the food is mixed thoroughly with the acidic gastric juice of the stomach by churning movements of its muscular wall and the product is chyme
