Hey mate here's your answer
Combination reaction and decomposition reaction :

When two or simple compound react to from a more compound, then the reaction is called combinaty reactions whereas in decompoi reaction is a type of reaction in which the complex substance breaks down to simpler substances. It is usually caused by passing electric current or by heating the compound.

rajshukla22: your definition about decomposition reaction is incorrect
rajshukla22: in decomposition reaction a molecule split up in two or more molecule
rajshukla22: oh sorry I had seen the answer of someone else
rajshukla22: hmm

Combination reaction

1. Two or more substances combine to form a single new conpound

2. In generalised form, a combination reaction is represented as

A+B=AB

3. It us exothermic reaction

4. Example: CaO+H2O = Ca(OH)2+heat

Decompostion reaction

1.in this a single substance breaks up to give two or more simpler substaces

2. In heneralised form a comvination reaction us represented as

AB=A+B

3.it is an endothermic reaction

4. Example: FeSO4=Fe2O3+SO2+SO3

hope it helps
