Combustible substance burns qnd gives off heat and light energy. Non-combustible substances cannot burn

Combustible substances are those substance which can be burned completely. It is also known as burning.
Non combustible substances are those substance which cannot be burned completely.
In other words,
The substance like charcoal etc which catches fire easily with the connection of air is called combustible. Examples nylon, petrol etc,.
The substance like silica etc which doesn't catchesfire easily with the connection of air is called non combustible. Examples sand, gravel etc.
